Trump Administration Can Fix the Forage Fish Crisis

We, the undersigned, call for urgent action from the Trump Administration to secure the future of American fishing.

Fishermen know that fishing jobs, the local economy, and the American way of life are at risk if we don't protect America's natural resources.

For far too long government officials at all levels have turned a blind eye to industrial fishing companies, largely controlled by foreign interests, that have been pillaging America's natural resources and leaving American fishermen to pay the price. This time they're taking billions of vital bait fish populations like menhaden and herring from the Gulf of America and Chesapeake Bay.

Bold action is required to halt the forage fish crisis and protect a $321 billion domestic fishing economy, 2.3 million American jobs, and the future of U.S. marine resources. As the Administration fights for its America First policy, it's important to include American fishermen.

Bold action is needed now to stop industrial fishing of forage fish in the Gulf of America and Atlantic Ocean. Generations of fishing families, recreational fishermen, and thousands of small businesses are counting on the Trump Administration to save American fishing!
